With the advent of mobile devices such as the iPad and iPhone, newspapers and magazines see a hitherto nonexistent opportunity for generating paid subscription digital versions as the new mobiles (and they WILL be proliferating like rabbits!) will be hungry for great, meaningful and pertinent content.
Why in the hell would you design an antenna in a metal strip around the edge of a mobile device where you know it has to be held to use...AND by covering the antenna with your hand it would cut down or eliminate your reception? 
The much anticipated iPhone 4 danced into reality as Steve Jobs introduced and demonstrated the device at the WWDC yesterday. The crown jewel of the digital delight appeared to be the face-to-face video phone app known as FaceTime._100.jpg)
